The ArchiCAD basic course lasts 4 days and costs € 1295.
This intensive basic course is aimed at anyone who wants to learn to work with BIM and ArchiCAD (architects, designers and draughtsmen). The changes you make are automatically incorporated into all 2D views, drawings and calculations.
Content of Course: AchiCAD Basics
In consultation, the students can provide examples from their own practice. After attending the course, one is able to immediately apply what has been learned in practice. Understanding the purpose of Building Information Model (BIM) is an important part of the course. Then you will be introduced to the ArchiCAD interface, working environment and various basic drawing techniques, such as tools, pallets and revision options.
We work with advanced drawing techniques: including wall, floor, roof, beam, column and morph tools. Floors, sections, facades and details from the 3D model (database) are created on the basis of this.
We will also place and edit elements such as windows, doors and elements from the library. We will provide elements with texts, dimensions and captions. We will also work with the stair tools and the generation of standard and “custom” stairs. We will build a model with the renovation tool and various view filters: existing, demolition and new.
We will also generate various lists such as frame lists and pull-out lists. Then we will provide drawings with properties such as scale and status and create a drawing set in a Layout book and the Publisher. Finally, we will print or plot and we will generate different formats such as PDF, DWG, JPEG. We can also export them to other BIM programs (IFC).
