During the Quick Start course with AutoCAD, the emphasis is on the practical side of drawing. The interface and settings are reviewed and practical assignments are started. Different objects are drawn, such as: lines, circles, arcs, rectangles and triangles. Then we look at how objects can be modified: remove, rotate, move, scale, mirror, etc. Texts and tables are then added for extra information. The use of layers in drawings is important to separate things. We will also look at object snaps and grips. We also spend time making blocks and shading surface. The relationship between model and paper space is also discussed. At the end we will measure all kinds of elements and print it out neatly.
