Rendering with MicroStation is extremely interesting for architects, engineers, and CAD operators involved in creating 3D designs.

Content

In this course, you will learn the basics of rendering with MicroStation. As foreknowledge, MicroStation 3D Modeling is required. After 2 days you have a good start. The topics covered in this course are: Cameras, Materials, Lighting, Setting environment, Rendering. You will effectively learn to use environment maps, sky cylinders and procedure textures. By applying photo realistic materials such as water, glass, trees, grass, and stone you can create effects as you see them outside. With lighting techniques you can simulate a setting inside or outside the house during the day, night, sunrise or sunset. You can also use your own materials or learn advanced lighting techniques such as ray tracing and particle tracing.
