Description
The JAVA programming course lasts 3 days and costs € 1395.
Java is a cross-platform, Object-oriented programming language developed by Sun Microsystems Inc. During this training you will use an Eclipse development environment. You will be guided for 3 days by an experienced Java Teacher. After this course you will be able to write JAVA applications independently. Experience with programming is not necessary, but it can help you enormously to take the concepts more easily. Learning to program with python gives you extra tools.
Content of Course: JAVA Programming
The following topics are covered. First, we will look at how JAVA code is converted into byte code. Then an introduction will be given in Object Oriented Programming. Topics such as classes, objects and constructors are discussed. In order to actually write software in JAVA, a number of standard programming concepts will have to be understood. Think of: data types, variables, strings, arrays, Flow control and expressions. After a broader knowledge of Object Oriented programming and standard programming concepts has emerged, we can go deeper into Object Oriented programming.

- Encapsulating data
- Object references
- Garbage collection
- Class inheritance
- Method overloading and overriding
- Polymorphism
- Abstract classes
- Interfaces
When more understanding of all this knowledge has been developed, a number of additional topics will be explained. Think of: exception handling, Packages and import statements, Filesystem I / O and the Java API.
