You will also learn to work with the extensive library, which is standard in Python. This course is for developers and system administrators who want to learn programming in Python and other individuals who want to understand code. Knowledge and experience with programming is not strictly necessary to participate in this course.
First you learn to install Python. Then we look at the different ways to run Python scripts. The basic concepts of Python such as: declarations, variables and control flow structures are also discussed. Attention is also paid to the collection structures in Python such as: lists, tuples and dictionaries. Then the focus is focused on using functions in Python with the different methods of parameter passing, such as by value and by reference. The scope of variables and lambda functions are also discussed. In addition, attention is paid to the division of Python software into modules. Object-oriented programming with classes and objects is also discussed in detail.
The handling of errors in Python scripts using exception handling is also discussed. Also, the functionality of various Python library functions for accessing files is on the program and attention is paid to database access to the Python Database API. The use of various Python libraries for the interaction with XML data is discussed. Finally, we look at different Python libraries for, for example: regular expressions, networking, unit testing and date and time.
