Description
The QGIS and GTOrbit course lasts 2 days and costs € 1095.
Basic knowledge of QGIS is an advantage. In this course you will learn the basics of the GTOrbit. You are going to import point clouds and process them into a 3d model applications developed on QGIS. It is possible to apply Python in various places in QGIS. For example for creating your own plugins.
Content of Course: QGIS and GTOrbit
We start with the positioning of QGIS and python within a broader spectrum. Then we will look at the main features they offer. And where we can apply python in QGIS. To be able to program efficient python in QGIS, a good understanding of python is necessary. That is why we will first go deeper into the most important programming concepts within python. An important difference with many other programming languages is that python indentation not only uses structure but also influences the course of the program. In addition, we will discuss the most important general programming concepts such as control-flow statements and loops. Data structures are also discussed. Examples include tuples, lists and dictionaries. Finally, we will also go deeper into Object Oriented programming, this is a specific way of programming. This is widely used nowadays.
