Course: Revit and Dynamo
Description
The Revit and Dynamo course lasts 3 days and costs € 1395.
During the Dynamo for Revit course you will learn the basics of Dynamo. Dynamo is an open source programming language for Revit’s conceptual modeller. Since the R2 Release of Revit 2015, Dynamo is installed by default alongside Revit. Prior knowledge of Autodesk Revit is required to take this course.
Content of Course: Revit and Dynamo
Dynamo is a visual programming environment that uses graphical elements called “nodes” instead of typing codes. This way of programming is better suited for people who are visually oriented. Using visual logic, conceptual designs can be examined and tasks can be automated. Moreover, challenges can be solved faster through workflows that control the geometry and behavior in 3D Revit Models. Dynamo makes it possible to automatically place points and families, collect data and keep an eye on relationships between elements.
During the course, the theory is first discussed, after which the students then start with different exercises. After the course you will be able to work independently in Revit with Dynamo.
Applying Dynamo can become even more extensive and powerful by applying it in combination with Python. For this we recommend that you do the Python and Dynamo course after this.
Learning objectives during this course:
- Getting to know the basics of Dynamo
- Automating tasks
- Working with workflows
- Being able to apply Dynamo independently within Revit
- Registration
