Course: Rust Programming
- Schedule and Sign In
This basic Rust programming course lasts 3 days and costs € 1495, -. In the Rust course Programming teaches you to develop software with the innovative programming language Rust. Rust is a new, practical system programming language that produces lightning-fast code . With Rust you prevent almost all crashes and data races.
Rust is language with multiple paradigms, both imperative and functional, and Rust focuses on secure, high-performance, concurrent applications.
The following topics are discussed during the course: basic rest programming concepts, ownership, data structure, enums and pattern matching, packages, crates, modules, collections, error handling, automated testing iterators, closures and concurrency.
During the course, a number of programming examples are viewed and the participants are also given the opportunity to do a number of exercises with Rust programming themselves.
Rust has proven to be a productive tool for collaboration between large teams of developers with varying levels of system programming knowledge. Low-level code is prone to a variety of subtle bugs, which in most other languages can only be caught through extensive testing and careful code review by experienced developers. In Rust, the compiler plays a gatekeeper role by refusing to compile code with these elusive bugs, including concurrency bugs. Working with the compiler allows the team to spend their time focusing on the logic of the program rather than debugging.
